Woke up at 10 till 4 b/c the cat crawled into bed and wanted attention. Cat left the bed almost immediately thereafter and puked in the living room. Okay, so, I need to catch up on my life, and it's not like I've done much, but I've learned a lot.

I'm still here. I'm sorry I've been so scarce lately. The dissertation is still killing me slowly, if not softly, but I may triumph yet. What with gas prices and my own liberal guilt about my carbon footprint (not that I do *that* much about it, besides recycling everything I can), I had the brilliant idea to commute by bike this summer.
